Meaningful work experience while you study
Enhance your expertise and kick-start your career with real-world experience at Worcester.
We offer a host of work placement opportunities to choose from across most courses. You might choose a year-long placement as part of a Business course, for example, or you could shadow a reporter for a few weeks as part of your Journalism degree.
Extended work-based placements are an integral part of many courses, such as Nursing and Teaching degrees. You can find out more about subject specific placements on individual course pages or through the academic department pages.
You can also gain experience at the University itself. We are employing nearly 1,000 students across a whole range of positions right on campus.
Our dedicated careers and employability service have also helped hundreds more find part-time work outside of the University.
This is just one of the reasons why our students are so successful when they graduate. With 96% employed or in further study within 6 months of finishing their studies.
