Psychology BSc (Hons) / Psychological Studies BSc (Hons)
The course is taught part-time at Gloucestershire College in Cheltenham, this programme features the same academic content as the main Psychology degree but is delivered in the evening with a focus on flexibility and individual needs.
During your first two years at Gloucestershire College, you will study psychology modules which are designed and validated by the University of Worcester, working towards BSc Psychology at Level 4. This is a British Psychological Society accredited course as long as you continue your Level 5/6 studies at the University of Worcester. Level 4 modules include: Introduction to Psychology, Psychology & Popular Culture and Research Methods.
If you progress beyond Level 4 at Gloucestershire College, you will study a mix of modules designed by Gloucestershire College and the University of Worcester, working towards BSc Psychological Studies. These Level 5 modules include: Social Psychology, Individual Differences and Introduction to Counselling Psychology. Importantly, this is not a British Psychological Society accredited course.
You will study the same academic content at Level 4 as University of Worcester students on the BSc Psychology course but your programme will be delivered in the evening with a focus on flexibility and your individual needs.
The BSc is awarded only if students complete levels 5 & 6 at the University of Worcester
