Genea Alexander

Student, Education MA

“I’m a music teacher at a Primary school, and wanted to find a course that would develop my skills and knowledge in the teaching and learning of music, but that also fit in around my busy work and home life. The Education Masters at Worcester is exactly what I was looking for- it allows me to work mainly from home, and the hours, timescales and deadlines are all really flexible- for me, it’s like a Research Master, but it can also be taken as a normal Taught Masters. My dissertation was a real highlight. My tutor was really supportive, and I was allowed to focus on the improvement of teaching and learning of singing in Primary schools. I’m not sure if this qualification will necessarily change my career, but I’m now an expert in my field, and I’ve certainly got more options!”
