Ambassador & John NixonThe University of Worcester has excellent links with mainland China and the special economic areas of Hong Kong and Macao.

Every year, we welcome increasing numbers of both individual students and delegations from across Asia to study on our courses. We also arrange work placements wherever possible for many of our students, so you can enhance your studies with practical experience. Read more about our latest placements here.

First-class Student Support

We work with your lecturers to support you during your studies and offer you full language tuition.  Our Accommodation Office will ensure that you feel at home and our Student Services team are available for advice and guidance.

High Profile

The University continues to have a high profile within the Chinese Government. We continue to be an Accredited Training Centre and an Approved Provider of Training Courses. This is in recognition of our excellent provision in our quality of teaching. We look forward to welcoming more delegates in academic year 2010/11.

Cultural Activities

We encourage you to make the most of your time in the UK by organising weekend trips to places of interest such as London, Edinburgh, Oxford and by arrangement to mainland Europe. We’ll also help you to explore the local area – including the nearest Chinese supermarket!

We frequently attend fairs and exhibitions in China and have one representative permanently based in Beijing and an office for Hong Kong.  Mr Xie Yuan Hui, the Chief Representative of the University of Worcester, provides services to students in Mainland China.
