Worcester Life

Worcester Life

Worcester is one of the most beautiful cathedral cities in the UK and with its central location in the Heart of England it is easily accessed by air, rail and road links. Why Worcester?

Worcester is a cosmopolitan and modern place to live with a long and interesting history.   Worcester was voted 11th out of 189 towns and cities in a quality of life survey conducted by the University of Strathclyde, so you know you will be coming to a friendly community.

It is one of the fastest growing cities in Europe.   New businesses moving here have brought an influx of people and with them a range of multicultural restaurants, shops and nightclubs.

Plenty to See

Worcester is world-famous for its many historical buildings, its Royal Worcester Porcelain and for being the home of composer Sir Edward Elgar.  Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotwolds are easily accessible and London is only two hours away by road or rail.

Sports

For sports enthusiasts, Worcester has something for everyone; Pitchcroft Racecourse, Worcester Rugby Football Club and the Worcestershire County Cricket ground to watch top class home and international matches. The River Severn is a rower's paradise away from studying and if you enjoy walking, the beautiful Malvern Hills are just 15 minutes away.

When you aren’t studying, there’s plenty to see and do in Worcester!
