Interlibrary Requests
The Inter Library Request Service aims to supply material that is not held at the University of Worcester. If you have exhausted all other ways of locating material, we can ask to borrow or photocopy an item from another library. These items might be books, journals (whole issues or photocopied articles), reports or conference proceedings. There are limits to the number of requests you may submit. Please refer to the FAQs page for details.
The British Library currently charges us £5.95 for a photocopied article and £9 for a loan (Renewals cost £3.40). Please take this into account when making requests. Current charges (for undergraduates and taught post-graduates) are listed on the FAQ page.
Staff may take advantage of two online services:
1. Request books via Resources Online (library catalogue) – paper request form not required
2. Receive articles via Secure Electronic Delivery (request form still required)
Please refer to the attached pdf instructions for details or contact the Inter Library Request assistants to check that you are eligible for these services.
