Registered Staff Status

Procedures for Registering for Registered Lecturer or Registered Administrator / HE Manager Facilities at the University of Worcester

  1. Read the relevant criteria (see left of page) for the granting of Registered Lecturer Status or Registered Administrator/HE Manager Status.
  2. Complete the Registered Lecturer or the Registered Administrator/HE Manager application form (see left of page) and follow the instructions at the end of the form.
  3. Once your application form has been processed, you will receive a UW staff number and further information.  For any queries regarding Registered Lecturer or Registered Administrator/HE Manager applications, please contact Margaret Chaffey in the Academic Quality Unit (m.chaffey@worc.ac.uk).

 When you have received your staff number please complete the following forms and return them as indicated.

 1.  Request for Use of IT Facilities
Completion of this form is important to ensure you get access to a UW network account which will allow you to log on to the range of IT facilities available from the University.

2.  Request for Athens Account
An Athens account will give you access to subscription electronic resources such as databases and electronic journals.

3.  Request for Blackboard Learning System Account
This will enable you to access your courses on the University of Worcester VLE.  Your account will be sent to the email address you supply on the form.
