Here's what we offer:
- Enquiry Service within Peirson. Our ILS Advisors are available to assist with use of the library systems and finding information. Just press the button on our Enquiry Point on the first floor and someone will be with you as soon as possible. This service is available during our core hours of 8.30am to 7pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 5pm Friday. Outside of these times, ask at the Information Point.
- Information Professionals are available to answer questions sent by email. We aim to answer any questions within 8 working hours.
- Our website covers many of the basics of using the service. For initial help, try the Using the Library pages.
- Our Academic Liaison Librarians have developed a range of screencasts, short videos showing the screen as you would see it, to help you use the online resources we provide. These are invaluable when you aren’t sure how to begin a search and can be found through the e-resources button on Resources Online.
- The Liaison Librarians also provide help with the skills needed to effectively locate and evaluate information for your studies. See their pages for more information.
- There is a range of ILS guides focused on helping you to make the best use of the service. Try the Student Survival Guide or the Harvard Referencing Guide for instance.
