24 hour Access
These PC’s are available for your use at any time as long as a lecture is not taking place in the room, information on 24/7 room bookings is always available. If a room is locked, please go to reception who will contact security to open the room for you.The following will be 24 hour access:
- MB 31 has 34 PCs
- MB 23 has 22 PCs
- MB 169 has 27 PCs
The following rooms will only be available for teaching and should be locked when not in use:
- MB 1.21
- MB 1.22
- MB 1.101
- WB 139
* PL 1.2 will be available for open access Mac use during normal Library opening hours.
PL1.2 has 19 MACs which dual boot OSX 10.5 (Leopard) and Windows XP Pro
Please note that there are also PCs available in the Peirson building and Students Union.
Locking PCs
You can lock a PC if you need to leave it, but only for ten minutes.
If you need to use a PC and there is one locked, let us know at the desk. We’ll come and take a note of it, and if it is still locked ten minutes later, we’ll log out the person who has locked it.
Important! If you are logged out in this way, anything you were working on will be lost if it wasn’t saved. Make sure you don’t leave your PC for longer than 10 minutes!
