Membership
As a current member of staff you have automatic membership of the library but you will need to activate your account. Take your staff ID card (which is also your library card) to the Information Point in Peirson. Your record will be set up and you will be given a library PIN.
The PIN is needed if you wish to request or renew items and to access your library account. You will also need your borrower number. This is the number from your University of Worcester photo id card, including the Issue number. For example, if your card reads 1234 (Issue 1), you need to type 12341.
Books from the Main Collection are issued to staff for 6 weeks and can subsequently be renewed up to 4 times. Please bear in mind that books may be recalled in which case the book will be due back within 7 days of the recall and not the original return date. This system keeps books circulating fairly and it is important that items are returned promptly. Both staff and students are subject to fines for overdue books.
