Recommended Software
If you use sub folders in your inbox and rules to deliver mail directly to them, you might notice that your phone does not alert you to this new mail.  A program called Watchflag is available to get round these issues, and give a configurable rule based way of being alerted to new email or text messages.
The software is available from http://www.watchflag.com/.
