Register of Approved Supervisors
The Research Degrees Board has agreed that the University will keep a register of current and potential research degree supervisors. This is a positive development which will highlight the institution’s current supervisory capacity and the potential to expand its supervisory base. The Register will also be used as a tool for enabling expansion of the supervisory base, by creating a culture whereby staff aspire to be included on the Register. The expansion of the supervisory base reflects the continued growth and development of the University’s research culture but is also itself a catalyst for this development.
The Register will be updated throughout the year as new supervisors are added by the GRS Manager. A formal review will also take place annually by the RDB at its February meeting, as part of the Annual Review of Research Activity. This will enable the GRS Manager to ensure the information held is current and up to date and will allow RDB to manage the register effectively.

If you wish to be added to the Register please attend Research Supervisor training and then return a copy of your CV (using the UW CV template) to h.tabinor@worc.ac.uk This will be recieved by the RDB who will approve your addition to the Register.
