Accreditation for Prior Learning
You may feel that you have prior experience, either academic or professional, which eliminates your need to undertake one or more modules in the Research Training Programme, normally the subject specific research module.Accreditation for Prior Learning (APL) is normally given to someone who can demonstrate that they have successfully completed an appropriate Masters level module in a subject related to their research degree in the last 7 years.
Accreditation for Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) is normally given to someone who can demonstrate that they have appropriate and relevant professional experience related to the subject area of their research degree.
