Research Concordat
A new Research Concordat was launched in June 2008 supported by the government, the funding councils, research councils and other major stakeholders in UK Higher Education. The document sets out the expectations and responsibilities of researchers, their managers, employers and funders, seeking to increase the attractiveness and sustainibility of research careers in the UK and thus to improve the quality and impact of research in the UK.It is particularly relevant to research assistants, postdoctoral fellows and research technicians.
