Blackboard 9.1 Implementation
Key Dates
November 23rd 2011 – Pilot project launch – A meeting for everyone who would like to take part in the pilot project running live modules/courses during semester 2 20011/12. Invitations will be sent to those who have already expressed an interest in taking part but if you haven’t yet indicated your interest, please contact Libby Symonds e.symonds@worc.ac.uk who will arrange for you to join the pilot group.
A second launch meeting on 24th November 2011 has been arranged due to the large number of staff wishing to take part in the pilot. This will take place in BBG063 from 10.15 - 12.15.
December 2011 – training and preparation for pilot users.
January/February 2012 – start of teaching for pilot groups.
February – June 2012 – Ongoing evaluation and feedback from pilot groups.
Ongoing training and development activities for all staff.
June – August 2012 – movement of all current Blackboard modules to the new system
August/September 2012 – Teaching on new Blackboard begins for all users.
October 2012 – Old Blackbaord system switched off.
