Course Development
Course Development
Course design and development forms a large part of what we do at the LTTU through ongoing development of our main e-learning systems and services. We can provide staff with detailed information on how to develop their own online presence for taught modules, and advise on which elements and materials can be used to enhance their teaching. This is usually accomplished through developing an online area in our Blackboard VLE, or in Moodle, our secondary virtual learning environment. PebblePad is used for E-Portfolio management and development, and we also offer services for plagiarism detection and prevention, which can be easily deployed to support student development within academia.
We run training sessions for groups and individual staff members throughout the year in how to use and develop these resources, allowing users to get the most out of each application. This also allows staff to develop their module content in more professional ways, and enables them to improve presentation skills and fully utilise new teaching technologies which are now becoming available.
