Services at a glance
The Learning and Teaching Technology Unit provide a number of services for engaging with e-learning. These services all have different functions to support varying pedagogical approaches and technical preferences. Click on each of the services for more details.

Blackboard is the University of Worcester's primary Virtual Learning Environment.
Moodle is an alternative Virtual Learning Environment for situations where Blackboard is not suitable.
PebblePad has now been adopted as the University’s e-portfolio system and all staff and students have access to the system. Training is available for staff and students who wish to integrate Pebblepad into their module or course.
Release is a storage area for e-learning and related materials such as audio and video files.
TurningPoint is a Personal Response System used in classroom teaching promote classroom interaction.
Turnitin is the JISC Plagiarism Detection Service, which the university subscribes to. It is an internet based search tool that allows staff or students to submit entire essays which are then compared against materials published on the web and also against a database of other documents people have submitted.
