Youngsters from across Worcester will get the chance to hone their acting skills over the next few weeks, thanks to a series of acting taster sessions being run by staff and students from the University of Worcester.
Five to seven year-olds and eight to twelve year-olds are invited to take part in the four trial sessions, which begin at The Hive on November 20th.
Julie Fisher, Outreach Officer at the University of Worcester, says: “The trial sessions are designed to allow local young people to come along and meet new people, build their confidence and have fun.
"The sessions will be structured to allow the children to learn new skills, play drama games and create performances from scratch, all under the supervision of University of Worcester drama students and staff.”
The sessions will take place at The Oasis at The Hive, with five to seven year-olds invited to come along between 4pm and 5pm, and eight to twelve year-olds between 5.30pm and 7pm. The sessions will take place each Wednesday until December 11th.
Each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is able to sign a consent form. For further information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 01905 855028.
