STEM Support
Welcome to the STEM Support Office for Hereford & Worcester
STEMNET creates opportunities to inspire young people in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). As STEMNET’s sub-regional partner for the Herefordshire and Worcestershire region until March 2015, the University of Worcester works primarily with schools and colleges to help young people and their teachers access a range of exciting STEM Enhancement & Enrichment opportunities.
These include the development of STEM Clubs, establishment of links with STEM Ambassadors and accessing a wide range of third-party activities provided by companies and educational charities. Teachers can contact us for free advice on STEM Enhancement & Enrichment (E&E), and assistance in identifying what STEM E&E can most benefit them and their students. Businesses and individuals interested in supporting education can contact us to find out more about the STEM Ambassador Programme and the range of ways in which they can engage with schools.
The following webpages explain what we the Contract Holders for Hereford and Worcester can do to support your school and gives you an idea on what the STEM Ambassador Programme is all about.
