Case study

New book to aid primary science teachers

An inspiring book written by two University of Worcester Primary Education lecturers has been introduced to schools in England, providing primary science teachers with innovative teaching ideas in light of the new National Curriculum.

In the book, Practical Ideas for Teaching Primary Science, lecturers Dr Colin Howard and Vivian Cooke draw on their extensive knowledge and experiences of teaching at the University, and offer a range of information and ideas including key vocabulary, how to address common science misconceptions, teaching strategies and activities, and health and safety concerns.
