Theresa is a part-time PhD student in the Institute of Health and Society at the University of Worcester.
Her PhD research study critically examines how nursing students construct their professional identity during their training and how that is developed post qualification. This a qualitative study which is longitudinal in design. Data collection is via an online questionnaire and semi structured interviews. Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) is being used for data analysis.
Her supervisors are Dr Janice Clarke and Professor Eleanor Bradley.
In addition to working towards her PhD Theresa works as a Senior Lecturer in Children and Young People’s Nursing at Coventry University.
