
Netball at the University of Worcester
- UWNetball is the largest female sports club at the University
- Five teams competing in BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) providing levels of elite, development and recreational netball
- Our 1st team competes in BUCS Premier North League and is a University of Worcester Performance Team
- We jointly run the Severn Stars Netball Superleague franchise, in partnership with the University of Gloucestershire. Including U19 and U21 National Performance league Severn Stars teams
- Excellent indoor netball facilities (4 courts) including the University Arena which has a track record of hosting international netball events and is the home venue for the Severn Stars Super League team.
- Exceptional sports science and strength and conditioning support for performance level 1st team and development group
- Structured quality training for all teams under supervision of University of Worcester Director of Netball
- Volunteering and work placement opportunities and educational course provision in both coaching and umpiring
