Marc previously worked in research and development of digital media (including video games) technologies for over 20 years. Marc has participated in a variety of industry/academic collaborative projects, providing algorithm/software development and technical leadership in areas such as graphics, game engine development, and digital storytelling. During this time, Marc has acted as industrial advisor for 3 PhDs in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science, and 3 PhDs in Arts (virtual environments and mobile video).

Application of computer technologies for health and well-being: modelling and simulating influence of spine posture on physiology and mood; modelling and simulating biomechanics and physiology of internal martial arts; modelling and simulating biomechanics and physiology of other internal exercises (e.g. breath, sound etc.); HCI applications of the above.
