I am a qualified social worker who has worked predominately with Children and Families, supporting them to care for their children and prevent children from being removed from home.
I have worked in the voluntary and statutory sectors and enjoyed seeing the positive changes and outcomes for families I have worked with.
For over 15 years now I have been involved with social work education, supporting social work students to gain their qualification. I consider that learning is about acquiring new knowledge, skills and experiences but in an accessible and fun way that supports student’s overall development.
