Research Interests
MA Dissertation on the Protective Rights of Vulnerable Adults.
Professional Interests
Interest in SW practice, both experienced as a practitioner and as a trainer / practice assessor for the SW Degree. Recent publication of a skills- based training manual for SW Degree course.
Interest in the philosophy of social welfare, and the protective rights of vulnerable adults in particular. Teaching focus on applied philosophy, policy and Law in the context of social welfare. Particular interest in the rights of adults with disabilities (Service user participation and citizenship models within this).. Research focus on protection and policy responses to the abuse of Vulnerable Adults.
