Salaried Graduate Internship Scheme

Our Salaried Graduate Internship Scheme has an enviable track record.

Recognised and commended by current and former governments, the CBI and TUC, we’ve enabled over 150 West Midlands businesses to create internships since 2009.

Internships offer graduates the opportunity to make practical contributions to the work of employers and to further develop their own skills and knowledge. For employers the scheme offers a simple and easy way to inject fresh talent into their workplace and to experience first hand the positive impact employing a graduate can have on their business.

Key aspects of the internship scheme:

  • Internships are salaried and last for 12 months
  • Interns will fast-track their professional development by participating in a postgraduate module at the University of Worcester that uses a work based learning approach.
  • Additional free workshops and training days are on offer - from project management to working with budgets - all designed to offer practical support to interns and their employers.
  • Internships are advertised (free of charge) through a variety of agencies including:
    • University of Worcester website
    • 11 West Midlands University careers services
    • Prospects UK (National)
    • Graduate Talent Pool (National)
