Helen Gravestock has been appointed into the Institute of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Worcester onto an MSc Teaching Studentship. As an undergraduate Helen has represented the student body as Institute representative; worked as an assistant sport and exercise scientist in the MPC, and presented at a national conference. Helen's research from her Independent Study has also been presented at specialist interest groups where she has achieved a runner up award from an oral presentation.
Teaching areas within sport and exercise science include Motor Learning and Skill Acquisition kinesiology, biomechanics and Scientific study of Sport. Helen is a member of BASES and is working towards BASES supervised experience accreditation in Biomechanics.
Helen also works as a cheerleading coach in local schools and clubs.
