Approach and ethos
We provide an intellectually rich and supportive environment in which to study, to research and to teach.
We foster internationally excellent teaching and research, working on the most important and critical issues in education and enabling scholarship to play a key role in advancing debate, informing policy and shaping agendas.
Our students become teachers who have learned how to learn and who can reflect on experience and adapt. We not only involve our trainees in looking critically at research, we also use the best research to inform our own practice.
A noteworthy characteristic of Worcester trainees is their preparation for teachers’ wider roles in schools; for example their understanding of safeguarding, teachers’ pastoral role Ofsted
