Annie is a Senior Lecturer in ISES and has been a member of the team since 1999. Her area of expertise is in sports nutrition, having completed and MSc in Sports Nutrition, though she also teaches in physiology and research methods. Annie has published papers on the nutritional practices of elite female soccer players and pacing in mountain biking. She is a British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) accredited sports scientist and frequently presents lectures and workshops on sports nutrition and physiological testing to local sports clubs and schools. A keen cyclist and mountain biker herself, Annie is passionate about all aspects of nutrition, supplementation and the science of optimal performance.
