Developing Young Players Through Football
6 -11 July 2009 at the University of Worcester
This course will be of interest to football coaches, teachers and students with an interest in ‘the beautiful game’ and developing young players.
Coaching styles will be presented to students through practical examples directly applicable to football. These areas will be approached from combined Brazilian and English viewpoints.
Experienced lecturers and renowned coaches from the University of SãoPaulo (rated the ‘best University in Latin America’ by the Academic Ranking of World Universities), will be delivering workshops, including those on parental influence and talent identification. Members of the English Football Association and staff from the University of Worcester will also be giving significant input, on areas including Performance Analysis and Youth Football.
This course offers an exchange of methods of football practice between English and Brazilian students, and the opportunity to visit and experience a new country.
