Laurel Wang

MSc Business Psychology

I have to say that coming to Worcester and studying in University of Worcester is one thing that I never regret in my life. Not only for studying but also as the unique experience is what I chased in the last two years. I had my year 3 of Bachelor here and also fully enjoyed my masters in this lovely place.

It is very worth for every of us to explore little by little. I completed BA international Human Resource Management, and MSc in Business Psychology. The course arrangement covers both theoretical and practical aspects. Especially in masters, you have got many chances to join different training that is related to your future potential job, such as psychometric test which is very interesting and useful for me. In my class, half of us are international students. People from Britain, China, Singapore, Finland etc, bring our own culture and opinions to the class and exchange ideas. Even our course tutors are impressed by our active multi-cultural study environment.

More than studying in Worcester, the social experience in Worcester strongly helped me develop my capabilities especially my employability. When the first month I came to Worcester, I joined the International Committee and also helped International Office to hold many events as a volunteer.

Also the local Chinese association involved me to daily work and helped to build our Chinese student committee in Worcester. I graduated from this lovely university and easily get job in a big British company in Shanghai branch as a consultant for recruiting people from different countries and industries and fully applied all the things that I gained in here.

I believe you will also have the same felling after exploring this spirited university fully and carefully.

Peiyuan Zhao

Business Management BA (Hons)
International Marketing MSc

On my return to China, I missed both the university and the city of Worcester very much. I missed the beautiful city, the first-class teaching, the friendly tutors and all the support I was given. Studying at University of Worcester was the best and most rewarding time of my student life. I am very proud of being a student here. My degree has enabled me to obtain a really first class job with CHINA MINSHENG BANKING CORP. LTD.

Yigong Huang

International Business BA (Hons)

When I first walked into the University of Worcester, I could not help myself speaking out ‘what a beautiful and peaceful place it is’. During those days in Worcester, I made new friends, learnt new knowledge and travelled around the UK feeling I was just in my new hometown. Now, after almost three years, I have an excellent job in Chengdu because of the skills I learnt in Worcester. I still dream plenty of times about going back to Worcester. All I want to say is that I really loved it there and miss everything!

Cheng Yu JIN

BA (Hons) International Business (Top-Up)

Worcester is small, quiet, and with lots of nature, which can provide a good study environment. The people who live here are very nice and friendly. I have already made a lot of foreign friends from the entire world.

I enjoy studying with lots of foreign students, having discussions and doing group work. The module tutors are very nice. They are very patient and teach you until you understand.

I have found the 20 minute drop-in sessions at the Language Centre lots of help. They are very good for students who do not speak English as a first language. It can be a great help for you and offer valuable suggestions.

Even after I leave Worcester I think I will miss the life here.
