Anna Daley studied at one of the University’s partnership institutions, the Somerset Centre for Integrated Learning (SCIL) in Taunton and was delighted to achieve a First Class Honours.
“I worked very hard and am pleased that all of my hard work paid off,” she said. “It took a lot of courage to go back to university after such a long time but I'd finally found something that I was passionate about and interested in and wanted to progress in this area.
“I would have been happy to have finally gained a degree but for it to be a First was just fantastic.”
Anna studied Early Childhood (Professional Practice) and, after completing her studies, began work as a family support worker.
She added: “I am looking forward getting to grips with something completely different and developing my skills in this area using the knowledge I have gained through completing the degree.”
