Sport and leisure

On campus, take advantage of our fitness centre, sports hall and sports pitches –all offered at very affordable rates for staff. There are plenty of classes available through our Sports Centre, including dance, yoga and pilates.

Library

Our University library includes collections of international significance. The library's website also links you to a range of online journals and other resources.Your staff ID card acts as your library ticket. The Hive, Europe’s first joint university and public library, will offer state of the art facilities and will be opening in 2012.

IT

You can use computers, with internet-access, in the library and in cafés around campus. You can also access specialist research services.

Staff Common Room

The common room is a relaxing, comfortable area open to all University staff. Enjoy lunch away from your desk in the lounge and read the newspapers.

Shops and cafés

There are a number of cafes and a canteen conveniently located on campus. The Students’ Union isn't just for students-- staff are also welcome to enjoy the bar and cafe, as well as use the convenience store.
