Employability

Employability

The strategic plan of 2007-12 has demonstrated a commitment by the university to develop ‘highly employable, innovative and professional alumni’, with the principle of ‘supporting the development of student employability, enterprise and entrepreneurship and encouraging students to take up opportunities to develop these further within the wider community’

In the current economic climate it will be particularly important to work closely to help our students develop  a strong sense of what their plans are beyond university and develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to take these further and be competitive in the labour market.

These web pages are provided to give you more information about employability and how you can support your students in the development of their employability skills.
