Throughout his career Hayder has had a skill and passion for passing on knowledge in one form or another. Initially on helpdesks, he was able to explain to callers what they needed to do to resolve their issues and by doing so minimized repeat issues, he also assisted other staff where necessary. Also, he often needed to explain technical issues to non-technical staff across the business as they fitted network systems to every new store in the region.
During Hayder's PhD studies, he mentored several senior undergraduates at Girne American University, which is when he realized his passion for teaching.
Following Hayder's PhD, he took a role as IT Lecturer at Dubai’s Institute of Management Technology, where he had an opportunity to develop his teaching skills, lecturing undergraduate and postgraduate courses on Management Information Systems and Business Informatics for BSBA and MBA.
