Gabriel Aboyadana is an economist and finance expert with a Ph.D. in Economics from Strathclyde Business School and an MPhil in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School. With a strong belief that learning should be practical and beneficial, Gabriel has dedicated more than a decade to educating students at the university level, nurturing their potential to acquire transformative skills.
He possesses extensive experience in curriculum development and delivery, spanning from foundation to postgraduate courses. As an external consultant, he has contributed to the development of study materials for professional bodies in specialisations such as Banking, Financial Services, and Financial Derivatives. He also provides consultancy services to businesses.
Gabriel has an expanding portfolio of research projects covering topics in development economics, labour economics, economics of education, and bank risk-taking. His proficiency in quantitative research methods has been honed through both research experience and formal training. He has provided formal research supervision and examined more than 100 postgraduate dissertations.
He excels in collaborative teamwork as well as independent work, valuing intellectual and professional autonomy. He thrives in an environment that promotes these qualities, such as the Worcester Business School. He is a well-rounded academic with a diverse range of expertise and experiences. His entrepreneurial spirit drives him towards success and innovation, making him a dynamic and valuable professional in his field.
