Engaging Students with Personal Development Planning: A Day Conference at University College Worcester

Welcome to the project homepage of "Taking Progress File Beyond the Enthusiasts".

Dr John Peters has been awarded a HEFCE National Teaching Fellowship with funding for three years, 2001 - 2004, to lead this project. The project aims to examine resistance to engagement in the use of progress file and personal development planning in Higher Education.

Student-centred research will be undertaken at a range of UK Higher Education Institutions to elicit the views of students and staff towards progress file and PDP.

The Overview pages provide a guide to the policy context, plan, methodology and timescale of the project.
Brief introductions to the Personnel involved are available
Details of the Partners are available
A growing number of Resources relating to the implementation of PDP in HE and especially at UCW will be available.
The site provides Links to other relevant websites and resources.

This website will grow with the project as the research is undertaken and written-up.
