The Learning and Teaching Centre has been set up to:

• co-ordinate seminars and staff development in learning and teaching including the PGCert Course for staff new to teaching in Higher Education.

• provide resources to all members of staff
• provide support for staff through funding
  • small group learning and teaching projects
  • individual small projects
  • attendance at relevant learning and teaching conferences on a matched funding basis with the department/service
• support the implementation of the Learning, Teaching and Assessment Strategy (the previous strategy is available here)
• assist in preparation for QAA visits
• support the Peer Observation Scheme in the University
• administer the Student Qualities Profile and the "Taking Progress File Beyond the Enthusiasts" NTF Project
